FAYE M. O'SHAUGHNESSY, Age 84, of Canton, passed away Mon. afternoon in the Laurels of Canton. Born in Hampton, TN, a daughter of the late Jim and Posie Whitehead Tolley, she had been a Canton resident since 1948. Faye was the owner/operator of the Forget-Me-Not Nursing Home. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W., St. Peter's Catholic Church and St. Peter's Ladies Guild and Holy Name Society. Preceded in death by her husband, William O'Shaughnessy on May 26, 1994, her daughter Kathleen Hilton, two sisters, and five brothers. Survived by one daughter, Alice Fowler, of Canton; three sons, Jerry Hilton, of Louisville, Jimmy Hilton, of Canton, and Lloyd "Dale" Hilton, of East Sparta; one brother, Cecil Tolley, of Hampton, TN; and 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Fri. at 10 a.m. in St. Peter's Catholic Church with Fr. John Sheridan as Celebrant. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery.
