Eylene M. Cobb

Age 88, of Canton, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Canton, a daughter of the late Raymond and Helen (Snow) Nist, and was a life resident.  She was a member of the Reedurban Woman's Club, the Stark County Landlord Association, and had been a volunteer Gray Lady (Red Cross) at the Brecksville V.A. Hospital.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, James Houck, on March 14, 2005.  She is survived by her husband, Charles J. Cobb, with whom she celebrated their 71st Wedding Anniversary on Oct. 27, 2016; two daughters and a son-in-law, Linda and Joe Belopotosky, and Barbara Houck; four grandchildren, Daniel (Lori) Houck, Ty Houck, Tim (Stephanie) Houck, and Mandy (Jon) Hegal; eight great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Pat Boomhower.  Services will be held Sat. at 11 a.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with Pastor Atlee Hershberger officiating and her daughter, Linda Belopotosky, will offer the Eulogy.  Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.  Friends may call Friday 5-8 p.m.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
