Evelyn V. Shank

Age 92, of North Canton, passed away Friday morning, Nov. 7, 2014, at her daughter Judy's home.  She was born in Killbuck, OH, a daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Zachmann) Schodorf, and had been a resident of the North Canton area since 1948.  Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Shank, on May 9, 1986, a granddaughter, Gina Baltzly, four brothers and two sisters.  She is survived by two daughters, Judy Farley, of Canton, and Sandy Briggs, of North Canton; one brother and sister-in-law, Vincent and Mary Schodorf, of Navarre; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  According to Evelyn's wishes there will be no calling hours or services, and she will be buried in Nashville, OH Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Evelyn's memory may be made to Aultman Hospice, 2821 Woodlawn Ave. NW, Canton, OH  44708.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
