EVA M. TAFT

Age 61, of Canton, passed away Sat., Jan. 19, 2019.  She was born Sept. 21, 1957 in Lorain, OH, a daughter of the late Burrell and Arlene (Hvezda) Taft, Jr., and had been a Canton resident 23 years.  Eva was a strong religious believer and was steadfast in her faith.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Elaine "Smity" Walton.  Eva is survived by two daughters, Margie "Maggie" Walton (Michael Dotson), and Katherine "Katie" Taft; five grandchildren, Dominic Dotson, Lena Dotson, Alexus Stover, Demetrus Stover, and Alicia Stover; a niece, Tabitha Calhoun and her son, Terrell Warner; one brother, Ken Taft; and her beloved dog, Buddy.  According to Eva's wishes, a private Celebration of Her Life will be held by her family.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
