Elva B. German

Age 97, of Malvern, passed away Monday, July 20, 2015, in Carroll Health Care Center.  She was born in Harrison Township, Carroll County, OH, a daughter of the late John and Mae (Clark) Dixon, and was a life resident of the Magnolia, North Canton and Malvern areas.  Elva was a 1936 graduate of Dellroy High School.  She had helped her late husband as bookkeeper for the G & G Construction Co.  Elva was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, a past member of the Civic Woman's Club of Lake Mohawk, and the Lake Mohawk Garden Club.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Wayne German, on April 27, 1999, her three daughters, Beverly Clugston, Jean Klekotta, and Sandra Orlando, three sisters and one brother, Gladys Roudebush, Ethel Trushel, Helen Roudebush, and Mervin Dixon.  Survived by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.  Services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor Jamie Walters officiating.  Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park.  Friends may call one hour before the service on Friday.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
