ELIZABETH PHILLIPS, Age 65, of Mineral City, passed away Fri. evening in her residence. Born in Catlettsburg KY, a daughter of the late Buell and Dollie Ward Hampton, and had been a resident of the Mineral City and Sandyville area most of her life. Elizabeth was a 1964 graduate of Sandy Valley High School and was a member of the Mineral City United Methodist Church. Survived by her husband, Larry Phillips, with whom she celebrated their 43rd Wedding Anniversary on Oct. 23, 2008; one daughter, April Hart and Russell Brill, of Freeport, OH; one son, Eric Phillips and Bernice Brumback, of Mineral City, three grandchildren, Maryann, Abigail and Michael Hart; one sister and brother-in-law, Faye and Bob Gersna, of Sherrodsville; one brother, Ronald Hampton, of New Philadelphia. Services will be conducted Wed. at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Rev. Peggy Garner officiating. Interment in German Cemetery in Mineral City.
