Edward "Foxy" Fox

Age 77, of East Sparta, passed away Wed., Feb.11, 2015, in Hanover House.  He was born in Canton, a son of the late Leroy and Gertrude (Pilcher) Fox, and was a life resident of this area.  Ed was retired from Powell Electric, where he was a machine operator.  He enjoyed hunting and was a member of the East Sparta Bow Hunters Club.  Survived by his wife, Jill Fox, with whom he would have celebrated their  44th Wedding Anniversary on Feb. 26th; three daughters and a son-in-law, Melanie and Gerald Gray, of Massillon, Jennifer Fox and her partner, Jane Hostetler, of Akron, and Nicole Heaton, of East Sparta; five grandchildren, Gerald Gray, Jr., Xavier Gray, Ryleigh Heaton, Aubree Page, and Averee Page.  Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with Rev. Jeffrey L. Shultz officiating.  Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery.  Friends may call one hour before the service on Monday from 10-11 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ed's memory may be made to his family.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
