EDNA JANE (HYATT) SCHAUB,

Age 92, of North Canton, passed away Tues. Jan. 31, 2017.  Born in Canton, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Helen (Parry) Hyatt, she had been a life resident of Canton.  Edna was a 1942 graduate of Lehman High School and attended the College of Wooster for two years before graduating from the University of Michigan in 1946 with a B.A. in Psychology.  After college she had been a Buyer's Assistant with G.E. at Nela Park in Cleveland and had also been an employee of W.H.B.C.  Edna was a member of Zion United Church of Christ in North Canton and Gamma Phi Beta Sorority at Michigan and had attended sorority meetings here in Canton until she became ill.  She was also a member of the College Club, Amaranth and the Canton Book Review and had volunteered for the American Red Cross and Ohio Reads.  Preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Schaub, on Apr. 11, 1996, and her brother, Philip Hyatt.  Survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Amy and Ken Storms, and Jane and James Valentine; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Carl and Rebeccah Schaub, and Dr. Eric and Dr. Karen Schaub; nine grandchildren, Dr. William (Christine) Storms-Miller, Paul Storms, Deborah (Jared) Speck, Ellen (James) Gilroy, Dr. Philip (Dr. Kelsey) Schaub, Gretchen Schaub, Abigail Schaub, Thomas (Fiancée Olivia) Valentine and Rae Valentine; and one great granddaughter, Evelyn Jane Speck.  Services will be held Sat. at 11 a.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Smith officiating.  Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery.  Friends may call one hour before the service.  Contributions in Edna's memory may be made to Zion United Church of Christ, 415 S.
