Edna J. Hart Age 97, of Waynesburg, passed away Sat. afternoon in Sterling House of Canton surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Ernest and Mabel Elsass Youmans, and was a life resident. Edna was a 1932 graduate of Waynesburg High School. She gave piano lessons in her home for over 30 years. She was a member of Shepherd of The Valley Lutheran Church, and had been a member and organist for the former St. Paul Lutheran Church in Waynesburg for over 50 years, where she had been very active and was a member of the Women of The Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Leo E. Hart, on Jan. 1, 1974, three sisters, Helen Trobec, Emma Ross, and Frances Harris, and two nephews, Ernie Ross and Dana Emerson. Survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Tessa and William Wellman, of Massillon; her son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Holly hart, of Cortland, OH; five granddaughters and 12 great-grandchildren, Lisa Pozderac and her husband, Joseph, and their children, Sadie and Cale, Wendy Bobey and her husband, Richard, and their children, Emma, Joshua, and Kate, Amanda Dale and her husband, Jake, and their children, Gracie and Allison, Amy Burkam and her husband, Lee, and their children, Garrett, Leah, and Jacquelyn, and Andrea Graham and her husband, Andy, and their children, Bailey and Mackenzie. Services will be conducted Wed. at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor Kari Lankford officiating. Interment in Sandy Valley Cemetery.
