Edna M. Beans Age 84, of Canton, passed away Sat. afternoon, June 18, 2011, in Canton Health Care Center. She was born in Old Washington, OH, a daughter of the late Grover and Ethel Markel Brister, and was a Canton resident most of her life. Edna was a member of First Church of The Nazarene. Preceded in death by her husband, Bernard J. Beans, on July 21, 1993, and a granddaughter, Theresa Beans. Survived by her daughter and son, Edna Pennell and Bernard E. Beans, both of the home; three step-daughters; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be held on Wed. at 2 p.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home.
