EDGAR L. BETZ,

Age 86, of Magnolia, passed away Sun., Feb. 13, 2022.  Born Sept. 2, 1935, in Canton, a son of the late Thorl and Mildred (Weaver) Betz.  Edgar was a 1953 graduate of Waynesburg High School and was a member of Magnolia United Methodist Church. He retired from Wendell Ford Sales in Waynesburg and continued working for Sarchione Ford.  Edgar was known throughout Stark Co. for his love of cars.  Preceded in death by his son, Randy Betz, his sister, Doris Garster, his brothers-in-law, Verl Garster, Herman Rugani, and Ralph Hockenberry, and his sister-in-law, Joan Betz.  Survived by his wife, Jackie Betz, with whom he celebrated their 61st Wedding Anniversary on June 4th; two daughters and one son-in-law, Sandra Betz and Traci (Paul) Offenberger; one daughter-in-law, Chris Betz; two sisters, Marilyn Rugani and Jane Hockenberry; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Robert Betz and Richard (Donna) Betz; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard (Carrie) Little; his grandchildren and great grandchildren, Ashley (Nick) Echard and their children, Cruz and Arya, Taylor Keck, Olivia (Kenny) Henry and their daughter, Emery, Bryce Offenberger, and Baylee Offenberger; and numerous nieces and nephews.  A private service will be held at a later time.  Contributions in Edgar's memory may be made to the Magnolia United Methodist Church, 999 Canal St., Magnolia OH, 44643.  The Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia is in charge of arrangements.  Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
