Douglas G. Gunnoe

Age 89, of Canton, passed away Wed., Feb. 7, 2024.  He was a life resident of Canton. Douglas was retired from Babcock-Wilcox in Barberton after 32 years' service, where he was a machinist and worked on nuclear submarines.  He had honorably served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Nancy Gunnoe, in 2012.  Douglas is survived by a son and daughter, Michael Hall and Cheryl Hanlon; three grandchildren, Tracie (Tom Kindler) Carruthers, Kimberly (Brad) Spurgeon, and Alex Heppe, three great-grandchildren, Kirkland Hanlon, Kaylee Carruthers, and Andi Spurgeon; and a special friend, Deloris.
