DOROTHY R. RUSSO,

Age 88, of Canton, passed away Mon. morning, Apr. 21, 2014.  Born in Canton, a daughter of the late Vincent and Frances (Sasso) Meola, she had been a life resident of Canton.  Dorothy was co-owner of the Cal Russo Concrete Co. with her late husband, Carl J. Russo and was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. She was a devoted wife and mother and loved being surrounded by her family; Dorothy particularly enjoyed having everyone over to her home for Grandma Russo's Sunday Macaroni and Meatballs Dinner.  Preceded in death by her husband, Carl J. Russo, and a sister, Catherine (Katie) Cochran.  Survived by her ten children, Vincent and Kathrine Russo, of North Canton, Patrick Russo, of Canton, John Russo, of Massillon, Diana and Gerard Berry of Pfafftown, NC, William Russo, of North Canton, Leo Russo, of North Canton, Virginia and George Liebermann, of Massillon, Daniel and Rose Russo, of Canton, Frances and Timothy Mastroine, of North Canton, and Timothy and Holly Russo, of Canton; 28 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandson; one sister, Antoniette Siber, of Canton; brother-in-law, Roger Cochran, of Wellington, FL; in-laws, Irene Ross, Angeline and Andrew Kismann, of Canton; and numerous nieces and nephews.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thur. at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Fr. Tom Bishop as Celebrant.  Interment in Calvary Cemetery.  Friends may call Wed. from 6-8 p.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dorothy's Memory may be made to St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 1530 11th St. SE, Canton, OH 44707, or Sancta Clara Monastery, 4200 N.
