Dorothy R. Linder

Age 97, of North Canton, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2016.  She was born in Chester, SC, a daughter of the late Paul and Adelaide (Elliott) Robinson, Sr., came to Waynesburg in 1944 and then to North Canton in 1974.  Dorothy was a Registered Nurse and worked for Dr. Gaston in her hometown in her early years.  She is a member of Centenary United Methodist Church.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Linder, on June 6, 1978, and a brother, Paul Robinson, Jr.  Dorothy is survived by her son, Daniel Linder, of North Canton, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, Danielle and John Silvey, and their children, Allison and Carson, of North Canton, and Sean Linder, of Doylestown, and several nieces and nephews.  Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in Centenary United Methodist Church with Pastor Linda Slutz officiating.  Interment will be in Sandy Valley Cemetery.  Friends may call Monday at the church one hour before the service.  The Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia is in charge of arrangements.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes
