Dorothy G. Deremer

Age 94, of Canton, passed away Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021.  She was born July 28, 1926 in Bearsville, WV, a daughter of the late Ardin and Minnie (Scott) Mason, and had been a Canton resident most of her life.  Dorothy had been a member of the former Sponseller Grange.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59years, Carl W. Deremer, on Oct. 14, 2006, the long-time owner of Lehman's service at the corner of 18th St. and N. Cleveland Avenue.  Dorothy is survived by her daughter and three sons, Carlene and Michael Slish, Dale and Paula Deremer, Russell and Sally Deremer, and Richard Deremer, one sister, Shirley Clear, 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.  Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with Rev.
