DOROTHY E. DANIELS,

Age 91, of Canton, passed away Thur., Sept. 11, 2014, in Altercare of Navarre.  Born in Canton, a daughter of the late Wilbur and Grace (Haefner) Pyle, she had been a life resident of Canton.  Dorothy was a 1941 graduate of Lehman High School and was employed at the former Bridal House on N. Cleveland Ave. for 20 years, and previously worked at Gattuso's Music Store for a number of years.  She was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church, the Canton Garden Club and was an avid skier.  Dorothy was a member of Portage Lakes Yacht Club, where she and her husband enjoyed sailing and racing and attending the Beaux Arts Ball in costume for the Canton Art Institute.  Preceded in death by her husband, Ted B. Daniels on Nov. 18, 1979.  Survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Susan and Eugene Tonkinson, of Centreville, VA, and Patricia Daniels and her life partner, Peg Flechtner, of Watsonville, CA; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ted and Beth Daniels, of Uniontown, and Scott and Mary Daniels, of Richville; one sister, Marilyn Daniluk, of Clinton, SC; and ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one soon to be born.  Services will be held Sat. at 11 a.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with her grandson, Dr. C.
