Doris C. Pickenstein Age 93, a resident of the Canton Christian Home, passed away there Wed. afternoon. She was born in Racine, OH, a daughter of the late Stanley and Stella King Young, and had been a Canton resident most of her life. Doris was a 1935 graduate of Canton Township High School. She retired in 1977 from K-Mart where she was a clerk, and previously had been a payroll clerk at the Timken Co. in her earlier years. Doris was an over 60 year member of Church of The Savior, United Methodist. Preceded in death by her husband, Orelio Pickenstein on Dec. 31, 1996. Survived by her daughter, Karen Pickenstein, of Canton. A private interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date in the Chapel of the Canton Christian Home.
