Doris J. Clinger

Age 92, a resident of Danbury Senior Living in Massillon, passed away Wed., Jan. 4, 2023.  She was born June 16, 1930 in East Sparta, a daughter of the late Homer and Virgie "Manilla" (Leavengood) Garner, and was a life resident of this area.  Doris was a 1948 graduate of East Sparta High School.  She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church of Navarre, United Methodist Women of the church, and the Order of Eastern Star.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin L. "Ed" Clinger, on June 23, 2015, two sons, Jay and Stanton Clinger, four brothers and one sister, Bill, Jay, Dale and Vern Garner and Betty Carper. Doris is survived by two daughters and a son, Jamie (Steve) Voican, Robyn (Roy) Adkins, and Stephen (Karen) Clinger; a daughter-in-law, Lois Clinger; 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
