Dora L. Karcher Age 77, of Canton, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2012, in Aultman Hospital. She was born in Canton, a daughter of the late Loren and Fronia (Swartz) Karcher, and was a life resident. Dora was a 1952 graduate of Timken High School, and was retired from Day Ketterer Attorneys-at-Law, after over 25 years service, where she was a Legal Secretary. She was an avid bowler and belonged to the Canton Women's Bowling Association, which she served as secretary. A brother, Gary Karcher preceded her in death. Survived by her sister, Sandra Karcher and a sister-in-law, Marlene Karcher, both of Canton; nieces and nephews, Tina Gier, Jeff (Tracy) Gier, Karen (Leon) Crumpler, and Mike Karcher, adopted niece, Deanne (Larry) James, and Deanne's supportive family; special caring and loving friends who were very helpful to Dora, Lois Van Orman, Sue Lightfoot, Janet Johnson and Fran Mohn; and especially the love of her life, her baby dog, Lilly. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
