DONNA J. VALLOS-FORBES

Age 76, of Orlando, FL, passed away unexpectedly May 5, 2015. Born in Canton, a daughter of the late Robert and Ira (Prather) Dancy, she was a Canton resident until 1995, when she moved to Ft. Myers, FL.  Donna graduated from Canton South High School in 1957, retired in 1992 from Canton Wholesale Floral and had attended St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church.  Preceded in death by her first husband, John H. Vallos, in 1988 and her second husband, Ronald E. Forbes, in 2012.  Survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Lisa and Nick Vitarella, of Canton, and Kristina Vallos, of Orlando, FL; one son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Bethany Vallos, of North Canton; two step-sons and two daugthers-in-laws Greg and Ann Forbes, of Nice, France, Rick and Lynn Forbes, of Hartville; and one step-daughter Lisa (James Manello) Lones of Malvern; one sister, June Yonce, of Winston-Salem, NC; two brothers and one sister-in-law, John David Dancy, of Canton, and William Lee and Jeannette Dancy, of North Canton; eight grandchildren, Nicholas and Amanda Vitarella, John and Victoria Vallos, and Kaitlyn, Sarah, John, and Joshua Blem; and two God-children, Jim Vallos and Nicole Margaritakis Barnett.  A public Trisagion Prayer Service will be held Saturday, June 6th at 9:30 a.m. in the chapel of Forest Hill Cemetery with Fr. Nick Gamvas officiating.  The Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home in Canton is in charge of arrangements.
