Donna Faye Smith

Age 93, of Canton, passed away Friday, June 27, 2014, at her daughter's home.  She was born in Akron, OH, a daughter of the late Noah and Bernice (Heath) Cordial, and resided in Canton since 1985.  Donna Faye was retired from the Kroger Co., after 26 years service, where she was a meat clerk.  She loved to cook and sew, enjoyed Christian Books, and also was an avid Cleveland Indians fan.  Preceded in death by her husband, Herman Smith, in 1982, a daughter, Vickie Flowers, in 2001, and a sister, Charlene Gingerich.  Survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Clinton Dice, of Canton; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, Lisa VanSickle and Eric, and their son, Jeremy Ray, of Canton, and Michele and Bryan Dubravetz and their children, Adam, Nathan, Leah, and Samuel, of Green; a very close cousin, Shirley Weisend, and several nieces and nephews.  A Memorial Service will be held Sat., August 2, 2014, at 3 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the City of Hope Church with Pastor David Pennington officiating.  There will be no calling hours.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Donna's memory may be made to the City of Hope Church, 4120 Martindale Rd.
