Donna J. Reynolds Age 84, of East Sparta, passed away Saturday afternoon in Aultman Hospital. She was born in Mineral City, a daughter of the late Harry and Florence (Brinkman) Hammel, and had been an East Sparta resident most of her life. Donna was a 1946 graduate of East Sparta High School and had assisted her husband as Office Manager for his construction business. She was an avid singer with the Sweet Adelines and the Carrolltones. Donna loved animals and she and Virg always had dogs including their current one, Angelina Marie. Survived by her husband, Virgil W. Reynolds, with whom she celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary on Oct. 25,2012; three sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and Tami Reynolds, and Tod and Mary Jo Reynolds, all of Canton, and Tyler and Tonya Reynolds, of East Sparta; her niece and husband, Diane and George May, of Magnolia; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. According to Donna's wishes, she will be cremated and a private graveside service will be held in German Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
