Donna J. McCreery Age 85, of Dover, passed away Monday, May 23, 2011, in Union Hospital. She was born in Sandyville, a daughter of the late Lester and Nellie Broad Knotts, and had been a Dover resident 12 years. Donna was a 1944 graduate of Mineral City High School. She was a member of Dundee United Methodist Church, where her husband had been Pastor. Preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Glen McCreery, on Oct. 12, 1982, and a sister, Margaret Ann McVann. Survived by her son, Daniel McCreery, of Dover; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, David (Monica) McCreery, and their children, Diego and Sofia, Sandi McCreery-Horvat, and her children, Bradley, Brittany, Daniel, and Juli, James McCreery, and Sean (Ada) McCreery, and their children, Caroline, Alexandria, and Hunter. A private service for the family will be held on Wed. at 11 a.m. in Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor Steven M. Smith officiating. Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery in Sandyville.
