Donna Jean Furbee

Age 71, of Massillon, passed away Sat. Dec. 16, 2017.  She was born Dec. 4, 1946 in Canton, a daughter of the late William and Gloria (Burleson) Shaeffer, and had been a Massillon resident since 2007.  Donna was a 1964 graduate of Glenwood High School.  She was a member of Anchor Baptist Church.  Besides her parents, Donna was preceded in death by a son, Ronald A. Gasper, in 1993.  She is survived by her husband, Bernard C. Furbee, with whom she celebrated their 31st Wedding Anniversary on April 25th; one daughter, Mellonie (Neil) Casto,  one son, Shawn Gasper, and two grandchildren, Brenna Swiny and Marron Casto; two sisters, Mary Jane (Raymond) Fausneauct, and Shelly Haugh; and one brother, William E. (Ivan) Shaeffer.  Services will be held Wed. at 12 Noon in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with Keith Kull, Minister, officiating.  Interment will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
