Donald W. Walls
Age 69, of Waynesburg, passed away Sat. morning in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Jere, WV, a son of the late Everett and Juanita (Roderick) Walls, and had been a Waynesburg resident 45 years. Don retired in 1982 from Old King Cole, where he was a machine operator. He also worked at Jerry's Restaurant and Capnickee Tile Co. in West Virginia. Don enjoyed rabbit hunting with his son and sons-in-law, watching football and basketball, but especially doing things with his family, the grandkids and great-grandkids, and going back to West Virginia. Don was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Walls. Survived by his wife, Carroll L. Walls, with whom he celebrated their 48th Wedding Anniversary on June 6, 2012; three daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly and Allan Clark, of Carrollton, Claudette and Larry Carling, of Massillon, and Angela and Glenn Becker, of Waynesburg; one son and daughter-in-law, Donald "Ray" and Irene Walls, of New Cumberland; three sisters and brothers-in-law, and five brothers and sisters-in-law, all from West Virginia, Sharon and Butch Lynch, Carrie and Jim Leach, Juanita and Terry Hilling, Jim and Nancy Walls, Carl and Donna Walls, Tom and Helen Walls, Glen and Edie Walls, and Kenny and Gladys Walls; 13 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two soon to be born. Services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor Bill Grimes, Jr. officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery.
