Donald L. "Bud" Steinmetz,

Age 87, of Carrollton, passed away Sun., Nov. 30, 2025.  He was born Oct. 24, 1938, in Amsterdam, OH, a son of the late Theodore and Mary (Tinlin) Steinmetz.  He retired from Republic Storage after 42 years service.  Preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Steinmetz, an infant daughter, Carrie Steinmetz, and his sister, Evelyn Franks.  Survived by five daughters, Tammy (James) Bennett, Laurie (Teddy) Stephens, Cindy (Chuck) Shuman, Connie Cheuvront, and Cathy Steinmetz; two sisters, Jeanette Mehalik, and Vi Williamson; and seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  Services will be held Fri. at 11am in Finefrock-Gordon Funeral home.  Interment in Sandy Valley Cemetery.  Friends may call Thur. from 6-8pm in the funeral home.  Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
