DONALD W. MILLER,
Age 89, of Waynesburg, passed away Fri. afternoon in the Laurels of Canton. Born in Rose Twp., a son of the late Claude and Mary Grace (Suiter) Miller, he had been a life resident of this area. Don was a 1941 graduate of Waynesburg High School and a 1949 graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. He retired in 1986 from Monumental Life Co. after 32 years service where he was an agent. Don was a member of the Fellowship of the Little Country Church, Sandy Valley American Legion Post #432, and the 40 et 8 Club in Massillon. He served with the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII, serving in Saipan as a Technical Sergeant. Preceded in death by two sisters, Marjorie and Doris. Survived by his wife, Donna Miller, with whom he celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary on Sept. 4th; one daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Frank Evanosky, of Carrollton; one son Randy Miller, of Akron; and two grandchildren, Stephanie and Paul Miller, of Las Vegas, NV. Services will be held Tues. at 2 p.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor Bill Carter officiating. Interment in Sandy Valley Cemetery.
