Obituary

Donald A. Langman, Jr.

Age 68, of North Canton, born Nov. 15, 1947, and passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016, from natural causes.  Donald was a 1966 graduate of Canton Lincoln High School, and served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War as an Infantry Sergeant.  He was awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star with "V" for Valor.  Donald returned from the war and worked for The Timken Company for 42 years until his retirement in 2009.  He was an active member of Canton American Legion Post #44, also a member of Hoover Lodge #770, F. & A.M., and the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Canton.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, and spending time with his family.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Sr. and Wilma (Class) Langman, and one brother, Richard (Francine) Langman.  He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Elaine, one daughter, Tanya (Ralph) Adorisio, of North Canton, one son, Clint (Andrea) Langman, of Charleston, SC, and his precious grandchildren, Timothy and Elaina Adorisio, and Nikolas Langman.  He is also survived by one brother, Dale (Jane) Langman, of Jackson Township, and several nieces and nephews.  Per his wishes there will be no calling hours and a private service for the immediate family will be held.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Donald's memory may be made to American Legion Post #44 or the Wounded Warrior Project.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
