DONALD R. HAWKER, Age 48, of East Sparta, passed away suddenly Sun. morning in Aultman Hospital. Born in Canton, a son of the late Ralph and Ruth (Ballah) Hawker, he had been a resident of the Magnolia area for five years. Don was a generous, hardworking man always willing to help family and friends in need. He was employed at Sugardale since 1991. Don always had a heart for kids and was involved for many years with the youth at Pine Lake Christian Church. Preceded in death by his brother, Doug Hawker. Survived by his loving wife and soul mate Maria (Wiandt) Hawker, with whom he celebrated their 5th Wedding Anniversary on Jan. 1st. "Till we meet again." Also survived by one son, Douglas Hawker, of Alliance, two daughters and a son, Lindsay, Amanda and Tony Carano, of the home; one brother, Gary Hawker, of Canton; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held Thur. at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Robert Holodnak officiating. Interment in Magnolia Cemetery.
