IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Donald
Fedder
January 25, 1940 – February 13, 2026
Donald G. Fedder,
age 86, of Sandyville, Ohio, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026. He was born on January 25, 1940, in Waynesburg, Ohio to the late Michael and Ollie (Swinehart) Fedder.
A 1958 graduate of Sandy Valley High School, Donald married his high school sweetheart, the late Karen (Carnes) Fedder, on November 13, 1961. Together they raised their five children in Sandyville and built a life centered on family, hard work, and helping others.
A true jack of all trades, Donald remodeled the family home and took pride in handling most home and automotive repairs himself. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, working in the garage, Ford vehicles, and taking care of his yard. Donald worked for 33 years at The Timken Company, retiring in 1992, and later spent approximately 10 years at Sparta Steel. Retiring at a relatively young age gave him the opportunity to spend time with family where he shared his knowledge of home improvement, cars, and practical life lessons with his adult children, while also spending cherished time with his young grandchildren.
He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to all who knew him. Donald and Karen celebrated 63 years of marriage in November 2024 before her passing in December 2024.
In addition to his parents and beloved wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard "Dick" Fedder.
He is survived by his daughter, Wendy (John) Gasser; sons, Jed Fedder, Michael (Anne) Fedder, Steve (Joanne) Fedder, and Brian (Marianne) Fedder; sister-in-law Valerie Fedder; brothers, David (Sandi) Fedder and Dennis (Marie) Fedder; grandchildren, Rayne Fedder, Jamie (Madison) Leake, Andrew Fedder, Amanda (Joe) Hoffman, Kaylyn (Aleksy) Russin, Megan (Max) Tisdale, Rachel Gasser, and Claire, Lauren, and Matthew Fedder; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Carter, Hunter, Ava, Dylan, Lillian, Elena, McKenzie, and Vincent; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
