DONALD R. BENNETT, Age 67, of Canton, passed away Fri. morning in Aultman Compassionate Care. Born a son of the late Wilbur and Mary Jackson Bennett, Sr., he had been a life resident of Canton. Don was a 1963 graduate of McKinley High School, served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and retired in 1985 from Ekco Products after 15 years service. Survived by his wife, Patricia Bennett, with whom he celebrated their 44th Wedding Anniversary on Dec. 23, 2011; two daughters and one son-in-law, Mary Kolm, and Lisa and Anthony Becher, Sr., all of Canton; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Myra Presutti, and Brenda and Mike Warren, all of Canton; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Wilbur "Webbie" and Carol Bennett, Jr., Ronald "Bones" Bennett, and Gary and Janet Bennett, all of Canton; and four grandchildren, Ashley, Kaylia, Anthony, Jr., and Joshua. Services will be conducted Tues. at 12 noon in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with Rev. Sue Ann Schmidt officiating. Interment in West Lawn Cemetery.
