Diane S. May

Age 74, of Magnolia, passed away Wed., July 30, 2014, in Aultman Hospital.  She was born in East Sparta, a daughter of the late George Johnson and Ruth (Hammel) and Gene Allerton, and was a life resident of East Sparta and Magnolia.  Diane was a 1957 graduate of Sandy Valley High School.  She had worked for Drs. Crouch and Abood in East Sparta for a while, but her life was all about family, and she enjoyed going to all the activities in which her children and grandchildren were involved, and loved to travel with them.  Diane was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother,and she is survived by her husband, George W. May, Jr., with whom she would have celebrated their 55th Wedding Anniversary on August 28th; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jenifer and Stephen Miller, and Julie and Mark Bland; her beloved grandchildren, Olivia and Maddie Bland, and Jordan Bidlingmaier, all of Magnolia.  Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Rev.
