IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Diane M.
Martin
August 15, 1948 – January 6, 2023
Diane Marie (Fink) Martin
Diane Marie (Fink) Martin, 74, of Canton, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on January 06, 2023. Diane was born on August 15, 1948, in Canton, Ohio, our precious mom, grandmother and sister. She attended Sandy Valley high school and resided in the area her entire life. Mom enjoyed Bingo, playing slot machines, gossiping on the phone, and spending time with her family. She worked hard to make sure we didn't go without. We could always talk to her about anything. She Always stood by our side through anything. Diane had her wild side in her younger days. We all loved the stories she told us. She raised all of us by herself and we loved the adventure we had together!
Mom was preceded in death by her husband Larry T. Martin, her beautiful mother and best friend, who she loved so much, Shirley (Lightfoot) Helmick, her biological father, Larry Fink, stepfather, Raymond Helmick Sr., two brothers Bill Fink and Raymond Helmick Jr., son-in-law, William (Bill) Bailey, her beautiful granddaughter, Angel Shelbi Savanna Martin. She is survived by her brother Steve (the farmer) and Tammy Lilly of East Sparta, her very beloved little sister, Sonia (Debbie), and her buddy Ed Hardesty of Magnolia, two sisters-in-law, Linda Fink of Magnolia and Jenny Helmick of Navarre, daughter Vickie Bailey of East Sparta , son Vince and Shauna Martin of Homosassa Florida, daughter Valerie Mills and Rick Walker of Canton, and we can't forget her baby boy, and pride and joy, Michael Paul Martin and Melissa Beddell of East Sparta!
Mom was blessed by many grandkids and great grandkids, that love her so much. I always said, "Mom, look what you created!" It all started with her first grandbaby Chelsea Bailey (then never slowed up) Charles Mills Jr., Brittany Bailey, Jennifer Mills, William "Billy" Bailey Jr., her twin granddaughters Addie and Hailey Martin, Kimmy (Grandma's Favorite) Bailey, her forever Angel, Shelbi Martin, Natalie Martin, Joseph "Joey" Bailey, Hannah Martin, Dylan Martin, Jaxson Lampshire, Colton Martin, and Isabella "Bella" Martin. Total of 11 Great-Grandkids and one very special one on its way. Hayden Gill, Zoey Gill, Mckenzie Gill, Collin Gill, Gabriella Bailey, Brayden Bailey, Giavonna Bailey, Braxton Bailey, Katiana Douglas, Emmett Dowsett, Bentley Dowsett, and Kimmy and Austin's up and coming addition to our family. She loved each and every one of them.
We will continue to stay strong as a family and we think of you always. Until we are all together again. Hope, Faith, and Love! We have it. Jesus made us a promise and we believe it. Hold my little Shelbi and let her know I love her. Tell Bill his children and grandkids love him. I know your mom was waiting for you at the Pearly Gates, as I know you will be waiting for all of us when the lord calls us Home. Love you Mommy. This is not a goodbye; it's we will see you later. Flowers are loved by Mom.
