David M. Seffens

Age 72, of Canton, passed away Wed., July 17, 2019.  He was born May 23, 1947 in Canton, a son of the late Jay W. and Isabel (Fischer) Seffens, and was a life resident.  Dave was a 1965 graduate of Lehman High School, and also had a bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from Kent State University.  Dave had been a football, basketball and track & field official for over 30 years.  He was a very active member of St. Timothy's Episcopal Church in Massillon, where he served on the Vestry and was a Parish Verger.  Dave had served in the U. S. Army Reserve.  He is survived by cousins, Gregory G. Smith, Barbara L. Benner, Virgil R. (Sharon) Smith, Jr., and Anne (Ben) Mancine.  A Memorial Service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, 226 3rd St. SE, Massillon, with Fr.
