David O. Reed,

Age 77, of Canton, passed away Fri., July 18, 2025.  He was born Aug. 19, 1947, in Minerva, a son of the late David and Betty (Wood) Reed.  David was a 1967 graduate of Sandy Valley High School and a member of North Industry United Methodist Church.  He retired from the Timken Co. after 32 years service where he was one of the first computer programmers for the company.  He volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America and the Explorers, was Assistant Scout Leader and Assistant Explorer Leader and was a Den Chief for the Cub Scouts.  David was a member of McKinley Eagles #2370, Sons of Herman in Massillon, VFW Post #3747, and the Polish-American Club in Canton.  Preceded in death by his wife, Sharon reed.  Survived by his daughter, Suzette (Greg Russell) Reed, his son, David (Michelle) Reed II, and his granddaughter, Megan Reed Taylor.  According to his wishes there will be no services.  Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
