David E. Reece,
Age 75, of Magnolia, passed away Thur., Aug. 6, 2026. He was born June 4, 1951, in Elizabethton, TN, a son of the late Charles and Ella Mae (Westerwille) Reece. David was a 1969 graduate of Perry High School and served with the U.S. Army in the 101st Airborne Division, the “Screaming Eagles,” during the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Polish-American Citizens Club, Polish National Alliance, and AMVETS Post #124.
Preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Reece and Paul Reece. Survived by his wife, Barbara Reece, with whom he celebrated their 52nd Wedding Anniversary on Dec. 19th; one daughter, Sara Reece; two sons, Andrew Reece and his sons, Lucas and Owen, and Benjamin Reece and his fiancée, Haley Brinkman; one brother, Richard (Karen) Reece; one sister-in-law, Lynn Reece; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thurs. at 1pm in St. James Catholic Church in Waynesburg. Interment in St. Mary Church Cemetery in Morges. Friends may call Wed. from 5-7pm in Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia.
