David W. Mockerman

Age 35, of Waynesburg, passed away Friday, April 25, 2014.  He was born in Canton, a son of Rick and Mary (Geiger) Mockerman of Waynesburg, and was a life resident of the Waynesburg area.  David was a 1997 graduate of Sandy Valley High School.  He was a member of St. James Catholic  Church and loved his music.  Surviving besides his parents is his wife, Deanna M. Mockerman and his son, Dawson Mockerman;  two sisters and a brother-in-law, Vanessa and Jeremy McCauley, and Jeannie Murray, all of Canton; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Daniel and Megan Mockerman, of Perry Township, and Harry and Kara Link, of Canton; his grandmother, Lucy Geiger, of Waynesburg; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in St. James Catholic Church with Fr. Joseph Zamary as Celebrant.  Interment in Sandy Valley Cemetery.  There will be no calling hours.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in David's memory may be made to St. James Catholic Church, 400 W.
