David C. Junkins

David C. Junkins, age 87, of Waynesburg, passed away Wed., Sept. 2, 2026. He was born May 23, 1939, in Dover, a son of the late Oliver and Hazel (Inherst) Junkins. David was a 1958 Graduate of Sandy Valley High School and served with the U.S. Army. He was a member of Magnolia Methodist Church and retired from the Timken Co. in 2000 after 35 ½ years’ service where he was a surface grinder.

Preceded in death by his daughter, Laura Junkins. Survived by his wife, Gloria Jean (Swinehart) Junkins; two daughters, Deborah (Michael) Yerkey, and Tina Reiter; one stepson, Les Weese; one sister, Marcia (Jeff) Porter; and six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
