David C. Chociej,

Age 78, of Carrollton, passed away Tues., July 14, 2026. He was born Oct. 23, 1947, in Steubenville, a son of the late Vincent and Dorothy (Mills) Chociej, Sr. David was a 1965 graduate of Steubenville High School and served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. David was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and he used to sell Steelers memorabilia at Rogers flea market.

Survived by his long-term partner, Janice Bungard; two sons, Kevin Chociej and Shawn Chociej; two brothers, Vincent (Helen) Chociej, Jr., and Michael (Helen) Chociej; two grandchildren, Zoie, and Josh; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Rick and Jen and their family, and Vince and Helen for all their help and support.

A Memorial Service will be held Sun. Aug. 2, 2026 at 3pm in Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia. There will be no calling hours. Condolences may be left at: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com.
