Danny L. Haney

Age 63, of Waynesburg, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017.  He was born Sept. 15, 1953 in Canton, a son of the late John and Wilda (Cottrill) Haney and was a life resident of Waynesburg.  Danny was a 1974 graduate of Sandy Valley High School.  He was a retired employee of Whitacre Greer Fireproofing Company with 19 years service, and also operated Sud-Z Car Wash for 19 years.  Besides his parents, Danny was preceded in death by his wife, Linda M. Haney, on Jan. 13, 2005, two brothers and three sisters, John Haney, Myron "Jack" Haney, Beatrice Willaman, Leah Griffith, and Geneva Davis.  He is survived by his daughter, Danielle Haney; son Clayton (Amanda) Haney; five grandchildren, Ryan, Conner, Brandon, Austin, and Caitlyn Haney; two sisters, Carol Mitchell and Clara King, and two brothers, Charles (Carol) Haney, and Paul Haney.  Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Rev.
