Daniel K. Huguenot

Age 70, of East Sparta, passed away Wed., Dec. 24, 2014, in The Laurels of Massillon.  He was born in Ashland, KY, a son of the late Ford Huguenot, and his mother and step-father, Beulah (Smith) Huguenot Uhler and Buford Uhler, and had been an East Sparta resident 11 years, previously residing in Canton.  Daniel was a 1964 graduate of Ashland High School.  He worked at the Hoover Company 18 ½ years, and then went into the  security business where he worked until he retired.  Daniel was a member of the Sandy Valley Eagles.  Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Richard Huguenot, and his aunt, Virginia Smith.  Survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Dwight Blair, of East Sparta; his former wife, Wendy Huguenot, of Canton; one daughter and son-in-law, Kristina and Kenny Loftis, of East Sparta, and one son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Cathy Huguenot, of Waynesburg; four grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, two nephews, Sean Blair and Dwight Blair, Jr., two great-nephews and three great-neices.  A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
