Daniel D. Albert Age 87, of North Canton, passed away Sat. evening in Aultman Hospital. He was born in Martins Ferry, OH, a son of the late George and Edna (Rose) Albert, and had been a Canton resident most of his life. Daniel was a 1939 graduate of McKinley High School. He retired in 1986 from LTV Steel Co., after 45 years service, where he was a spark tester. Daniel had served in the U. S. Army during World War II in Italy, and was a member of North Canton Eagles #2223, and V.F.W. Post #3747. Survived by his wife, Roberta E. Albert, with whom he celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary on Dec. 15, 2008; one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Patricia Albert, of North Canton; one sister, Betty Adams, of Dover; and one brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Kathy Albert, of Scottsdale, AZ. Services will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with his nephew, Pastor David Jellel, officiating. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery.
