Cynthia Ann (Bartchy) Hecht Age 69, of North Canton, passed away Monday evening in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Canton, a daughter of the late Jacques and Dorothy Engle Bartchy, and was a life resident. Cynthia was a 1959 graduate of Lehman High School, attended Muskingum College, and received her LPN Degree from Aultman Hospital in 1978. She retired from Reichert Health Care Works and previously worked for Dr. Paul Smith. Cynthia was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church where she served as a leader of the Stephen Ministry; member and Past President of both the Canton Junior Women's Club and Chapter BL of PEO, and later a member of Chapter AW of PEO. She enjoyed a variety of activities, including camping with the Calvary Campers, RV'ing, traveling to various countries, establishing friendships with people in China during extended visits, and leading the Calvary Youth Group. Cynthia enjoyed the cul-de-sac and backyard chitchats with loving friends and neighbors in Surrey Hill. Cynthia kept her positive outlook and her beautiful smile during her brief illness. She shared 49
