Cynthia S. Hauenstein

Age 60, of East Sparta, passed away Wed., Sept. 29,2021.  She was born Dec. 1, 1960 in Canton, OH, a daughter of the late James and Glenna (Griffith) Maher, and had resided in the Magnolia area most of her life.   Cynthia had worked as a Home Health Aide, as a Manager for Hardees, and traveled with her husband as he was an over the road truck driver.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Marion L. Hauenstein, on Feb. 19, 2008, and two brothers, James Maher, Jr. and Larry Maher. Cynthia is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Amber Hauenstein, three grandchildren, Carson, Makenzie, and Sydney, six sisters and two brothers, Carol (Scott) Burnworth, Betty Pratt, Jean (Paul) Emig, Annette (Dave) Watkins, Connie Huston, Rose (Eric) Corbett, Randy Maher, and Rodney (Alena) Wyatt.

Services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor Scott Anderson officiating.  Friends may call Monday 6-8 p.m.  Interment will be in West View Cemetery in Carrollton.  Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes.com
