Obituary

Curtis L. Lindsey Age 58, of Canton, passed away Wed. morning in Mercy Medical Center. He was born in Canton, a son of the late Dr. Hughie and Leota (Thorla) Lindsey, and was a life resident. Curt worked for Canton City Schools as a crossing guard. He was a social member of VFW Post #3747, where he sang karaoke, which he also did at many other places. He loved to sing and was runner-up for Canton Idol in 2007, and he also sang at the Fair Grounds and for some Hall of Fame events. Survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Brittany and Adam Soltis and their son Zander, of Canton; Brittany's sister and brother, Terra Dalton and her sons, Daniel, Brandon, and Colten, Uriah Coffey and his son, Nathaniel; Brittany's mom and her husband, Debbie and Rick Harden, all of Canton; one sister, Lisa Sinclair, of Atlanta, GA; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Lawrence Dillworth, Kevan and Rayvin Lindsey, Jon and Pina Lindsey, all of Canton, and Darryl and Yvette Lindsey, of Enumclaw, WA; aunts and uncle, Harvey and Peggy Thorla, of Akron, and Manoela Cappadona, of Osceola, IN; nieces, nephews, and numerous loving friends. Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with Rev. Jeffrey L. Shultz officiating. Interment in Warstler Cemetery.
