Constance (Goduto) Williamson
Age 98, of Magnolia, passed away Wednesday morning in her home. She was born in Roseto Valfortore (Foggia), Italy, a daughter of the late Joseph and Maria Ionna Dogoli, and came to the United States and Magnolia in 1912. She was an avid ballroom dancer and won many trophies over the country. Connie was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Magnolia. Preceded in death by her first husband, Matthew B. Goduto, on July 27, 1966, five sisters and three brothers, Mary, Helen, Elvia, Emily, Jeannette, Tony, Matt, and Rudy. Survived by her husband, William C. Williamson; three daughters and a son-in-law, Rose Marie (Whalen) Rapp, of North Canton, Anna-marie and Ed Miller, and Pricilla Chambers, all of Canton; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Pat and Thomas Newhart, of Florida, and Violet and Nick Filaseta, of North Canton; one brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Jo Dogoli, of Florida; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. in Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor J. Andrew Riggs officiating. Interment in Sandy Valley Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before the service on Friday from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
