Clifford G. Davidson
Age 74, of Waynesburg, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018. He was born August 14, 1943 in Philadelphia, PA, a son of the late Thomas and Ida (Miller) Davidson and had been a Waynesburg resident since 1962. Cliff retired in 2008 from Diebold Inc., after 43 years service, where he was a machinist and head of maintenance. He and his wife helped build and establish the former Faith Fellowship, and now attend Trinity Gospel Temple in Canton. They enjoyed wintering in the Bradenton/Sarasota, FL area the last five years. Cliff had been a volunteer for the Mohawk Valley Fire District. He enjoyed square dancing, tennis, biking, and playing cards with friends. He will be remembered for making Amazon the #1 online retailer in 2018. Packages are still arriving. Cliff was a proud member of the NRA. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Fred McKinney. Cliff is survived by his wife, Phyllis J. Davidson, with whom he celebrated their 55th Wedding Anniversary on Feb. 9th; three children and 13 grandchildren, Freddy (Teeny) Davidson and their children, Tina (Steve), Alicia, Jeff, Stephanie, Oscar, and Thomas, Renee' (John) Pariano, and their children, Johnny, Zack, and Kyle, and Patty (David) Zajac, and their children, Devon, Brittany, Julie, and Jon; also 13 beloved great-grandchildren; his brother, Thomas (Carolyn) Davidson; his mother-in-law, Delsie McKinney; many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, friends and loved ones. A Memorial Service will be held Wed. at 7 p.m. in Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Pastor Bobbie Cook officiating. Friends may call Wed. 5-7 p.m. before the service. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Annette Davidson for all that she has done for the Davidson family, and has been a special person to them all these years.
