Cindy L. Arnold

Age 67, of Canton, passed away Sun., June 20, 2021.  She was born Dec. 12, 1953 in Canton, a daughter of the late William and Lucille (Koon) Fiddler, grew up in East Sparta, and had been a Canton resident many years.  Cindy was a 1971 graduate of Sandy Valley High School and a 1973 graduate of the Aultman School of Nursing as an LPN.  She had worked at Hanover House, Carroll Health Care, and as a nurse at Stark County Jail.  She and her husband were members of the Blue Knights Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club, and traveled all over the country as well as overseas making many friends.  Cindy had a heart of gold and people just gravitated to her.  Riding her motorcycle brought her joy and independence.  She enjoyed gardening, country music and loved dogs and cats.  While in high school she excelled at gymnastics and was a member of Sandy Valley's first Gymnastics Team.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Lee and Kevin Fiddler.  Cindy is survived by her husband, Brian K. Arnold, with whom she celebrated their 32nd Wedding Anniversary on Dec. 12th last year, one sister and one brother, Sandi (Al) Shaw and Keith (Brenda) Fiddler, her aunt, Beryl Biechler, several nieces and nephews, including her niece Carrie (Wil) Horner, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends.   Services will be held Sat. At 11:00 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia, with Fr. Jonas Shell officiating.  Friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m.  Interment will be in East Sparta Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Cindy's memory may be made to the Children's Network of Stark County, c/o the Child Advocacy Center, 213 Market Ave. N, Suite 200, Canton, OH 44702.
