Charles A. Lappin
age 59, of Canton, passed away Wed. afternoon in Mercy Medical Center from injuries sustained in an auto accident at 12th St. & McKinley Ave. NW on June 29th. He was born in Canton, a son of Charles H.and Janice (Leidtke) Lappin, and was a life resident. Chuck was a 1971 graduate of Lehman High School. He retired from Stark Ceramics after 19 years service, and was a member of First Christian Church. Preceded in death by a sister, Vickie Kauffman, on Feb. 3, 2011. Surviving besides his parents is his girl friend, Kathy A. Graham; two daughters and a son-in-law, Crissy and Chris Miller, of Coldwater, OH, and Tiffany Lappin, of Canton; one son, Jacob Lappin, of North Canton; three grandchildren, Brandy Ramsey, Brayden Lappin, and Makenzie Miller; one sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Mark Jahn, of Yorktown, TX; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday at 3 p.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with Minister Jeff Bullock officiating. Friends may call Sunday 2-3 p.m. before the service. Chuck was a gentle man and loved his family and friends. He always smiled and never met a stranger and was always willing to help others and had a hug for everyone.
