CHARLES L. HAYES, Age 71, of Waynesburg, passed away Mon. morning. Born in Canton, a son of the late Urcle and Helen Farber Hayes, he has been a life resident of the Canton and Waynesburg area. Charles served with the U.S Air Force, retired from the Bonnett Foundry in Canton, and was an honorary member of the Sandy Twp. Fire Dept. Survived by his wife, Joann Hayes; one son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Theresa Hayes, of East Canton; one sister, Ellen Doane, of Paris, OH; three grandsons; one great grandson; and special friends, Lee Ellen and Wayne Schmidt. Services will be conducted Fri. at 1 p.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Chaplain Paul Rudy officiating. Interment in Sandy Valley Cemetery.
